You are not to blame for abuse, exploitation or grooming. Gifts, pressure or threats do not create an obligation to share private images or agree to sexual activity. Do not confront someone if this could put you at greater risk.
Protect private information
Do not send names, private images, pregnancy information or safeguarding disclosures through chat, general enquiries or feedback. We do not publish personal teenage profiles or cases. This prototype does not alert parents or guardians, but professionals must explain any lawful limits to confidentiality in a future service.
Before any live safeguarding service
Qualified safeguarding leadership, age-appropriate consent, lawful information-sharing, verified referral partners, human-reviewed responses and independent safety review are required. The fictional Safeguarding Lead role is read-only and cannot create a real case.
